What is Cubism?

Cubism is a style of art that was created by famous artists like Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque in the early 1900s. Instead of painting things to look real and 3D, Cubism shows them from many different angles all at the same time. It's like looking at a subject from several viewpoints in one picture. Cubist artists break down objects into geometric shapes, like cubes that's where the name comes from!
